Debra Rodgers-Olson, PT, MHS, CLWCT

Debra Rodgers-Olson, PT, MHS, CLWCT comes from a larger military family of six girls. She moved quite a bit as a child until her parents settled and retired in upstate New York. Deb received her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in Buffalo, NY in 1985. She moved to Indiana where she practiced until 2018. In 1988 she married Terry Olson, a physical therapist also working here at Prairie Orthopaedic & Plastic Surgery.

In 2004 she received her Master of Health Science (MHS) from the University of Indianapolis. Most of her initial years of practice were in the acute care/hospital setting. She has practiced in many settings including acute care/trauma, long term care and out-patient orthopaedics. She has held managerial roles in all settings. Clinically, her skills and practice range from acute care/trauma, pediatrics, geriatrics, acute orthopaedics, neurological and wound care. Deb recently added lymphedema care to her clinical skills.

Outside of therapy work, Deb enjoys exercising, martial arts, shooting, gardening, home improvement projects, crafting of all kinds, and travel. Any other time, she enjoys time with her nine grandchildren.
